Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
I was born in Melbourne and grew up in Switzerland. As a child, I sat with my grandmother Federer at the old, dark brown wooden table and together we painted colorful and golden flowers on white porcelain. Also my great-grandfathers already created works of art. These memories from my childhood bring me great joy. My works radiate this positive energy.
Why do you want to make and sell art?
I became a mother at the age of thirty. Three months after giving birth to our child, the love of my life died unexpectedly. By creating art with pompous colors and simple shapes, I was able to master it and gain strength. Through my works I can pass on this powerful energy to the viewer. Being an artist is my calling.
Where do you find inspiration?
I am inspired by everyday life, nature, people and city life. In addition, the shapes and colors appear visually in my mind. Then I paint them. My works are created from a symbiosis of reality and vision.
Tell me about your favorite material.
Wood is strong and wonderful. I like the structure of the fibers and the warmth of the material. It's part of nature. The scent of the wood and the silence in the studio are a combination that is directly reflected in my art and I can pass it on. My favorite wood is the pine. Its scent is unique and it is said that the smell of this wood significantly calms the heart.
What's your next career goal?
The day I watched the episode “Bice Curiger and the Venice Biennale: “dream, you are dreaming” on the SRF show Sternstunde Kunst in 2011, I have been captivated by the world that is created by the Biennale Venice. My goal is to show four large-format works, acrylic on pine wood, to take part in the Venice Biennale and thus allow people to immerse themselves in my world.
Woher kommen Sie und wie wirkt sich dies auf Ihre Arbeit aus?
Ich bin in Melbourne geboren und in der Schweiz aufgewachsen. Als Kind sass ich mit meiner Grossmutti Federer am alten, dunkelbraunen Holztisch und wir malten gemeinsam bunte und goldene Blumen auf weisses Porzellan. Bereits meine Urgrossväter kreierten Kunstwerke. Ich bewundere sie. Diese Erinnerungen aus meiner Kindheit bereiten mir grosse Freude. Meine Werke strahlen diese positive Energie aus.
Warum wollen Sie Kunst schaffen und verkaufen?
Mit Dreissig Jahren wurde ich Mutter. Drei Monate nach der Geburt, starb meine grosse Liebe unerwartet. Durch die Schaffung von Kunst mit pompösen Farben und schlichten Formen konnte ich es meistern und Stärke gewinnen. Diese Kraft kann ich durch meine Werke an die betrachtende Person weitergeben. Künstlerin zu sein ist meine Berufung.
Was inspiriert Sie?
Mich inspiriert Alltägliches, die Natur, Menschen und das Stadtleben. Zudem erscheinen mir die Formen und Farben bildlich vor Augen. Dann male ich sie. Meine Werke entstehen also durch eine Symbiose aus Realität und Vision.
Erzählen Sie mir etwas über Ihr Lieblingsmaterial.
Holz ist stark und wundervoll. Ich mag die Strukturen der Fasern und die Wärme des Materials. Es ist Teil der Natur. Der Duft des Holzes und die Stille im Atelier sind eine Kombination, welche sich direkt in meiner Kunst widerspiegelt und ich durch meine Werke weitergeben kann. Mein Lieblingsholz ist die Arve/Zirbe. Sie riecht einzigartig und man sagt, dass der Geruch dieses Holzes das Herz signifikant beruhigt.
Was ist Ihr nächstes Karriereziel?
Seit ich 2011 in der SRF Sendung Sternstunde Kunst die Folge "Bice Curiger und die Biennale Venedig: "Träumen, dass man träumt" gesehen habe, bin ich in den Bann gezogen von der Welt die durch die Biennale entsteht. Mein Ziel ist es mit Vier grossformatigen Werken, Acryl auf Arvenholz an der Biennale Venedig teilzunehmen und somit die Menschen in meine Welt eintauchen zu lassen.
D'où venez-vous et comment cela se répercute-t-il sur votre travail ?
Je suis née à Melbourne et j'ai grandi en Suisse. Enfant, je m'asseyais avec ma grand-mère Federer autour d'une vieille table en bois brun foncé et nous dessinions ensemble des fleurs colorées et dorées sur de la porcelaine blanche. Mes arrière-grands-pères créaient déjà des œuvres d'art. Je les admire. Ces souvenirs d'enfance me procurent une grande joie. Mes œuvres dégagent cette énergie positive.
Pourquoi voulez-vous créer et vendre de l'art ?
Je suis devenue mère à l'âge de trente ans. Trois mois après l'accouchement, mon grand amour est mort de manière inattendue. En créant de l'art avec des couleurs pompeuses et des formes simples, j'ai pu surmonter cette épreuve et gagner en force. Je peux transmettre cette force à la personne qui regarde mes œuvres. Être artiste est ma vocation.
Qu'est-ce qui vous inspire ?
Je m'inspire de la vie quotidienne, de la nature, des gens et de la vie urbaine. De plus, les formes et les couleurs m'apparaissent sous forme d'images. Ensuite, je les peins. Mes œuvres naissent donc d'une symbiose entre réalité et vision.
Parlez-moi de votre matériau préféré.
Le bois est solide et merveilleux. J'aime la structure des fibres et la chaleur du matériau. Il fait partie de la nature. L'odeur du bois et le silence de l'atelier sont une combinaison qui se reflète directement dans mon art et que je peux transmettre à travers mes œuvres. Mon bois préféré est l'arolle/le cerisier. Son odeur est unique et on dit que l'odeur de ce bois apaise le cœur de manière significative.
Quel est votre prochain objectif de carrière ?
Depuis que j'ai vu l'épisode « Bice Curiger und die Biennale Venedig : “Träumen, dass man träumt” dans l'émission Sternstunde Kunst de la SRF en 2011, j'ai été fascinée par l'univers créé par la Biennale. Mon objectif est de participer à la Biennale de Venise avec quatre œuvres de grand format, de l'acrylique sur bois d'arolle, et de permettre ainsi aux gens de s'immerger dans mon univers.

请谈谈您最喜欢的材料。
木材坚固而美妙。我喜欢纤维的结构和材料的温暖。它是大自然的一部分。木头的香味和工作室里的宁静是一种结合，直接反映在我的艺术中，我可以将它传递下去。我最喜欢的木材是松木。它的气味很独特，据说这种木材的气味能让人的心平静下来。
您的下一个职业目标是什么？

Da dove viene e come influisce sul suo lavoro?
Sono nata a Melbourne e cresciuta in Svizzera. Da bambina, mi sedevo con mia nonna Federer al vecchio tavolo di legno marrone scuro e insieme dipingevamo fiori colorati e dorati su porcellana bianca. Anche i miei bisnonni creavano già opere d'arte. Questi ricordi della mia infanzia mi danno una grande gioia. Le mie opere irradiano questa energia positiva.
Perché vuole fare e vendere arte?
Sono diventata madre all'età di trent'anni. Tre mesi dopo aver dato alla luce nostro figlio, l'amore della mia vita è morto inaspettatamente. Creando arte con colori pomposi e forme semplici, sono riuscita a dominarla e ad acquisire forza. Attraverso le mie opere posso trasmettere questa potente energia a chi le guarda. Essere un'artista è la mia vocazione.
Dove trova l'ispirazione?
Mi ispiro alla vita quotidiana, alla natura, alle persone e alla vita di città. Inoltre, le forme e i colori appaiono visivamente nella mia mente. Poi li dipingo. Le mie opere nascono da una simbiosi tra realtà e visione.
Mi parli del suo materiale preferito.
Il legno è forte e meraviglioso. Mi piace la struttura delle fibre e il calore del materiale. Fa parte della natura. Il profumo del legno e il silenzio nello studio sono una combinazione che si riflette direttamente nella mia arte e che posso trasmettere. Il mio legno preferito è il pino. Il suo profumo è unico e si dice che l'odore di questo legno calmi notevolmente il cuore.
Qual è il suo prossimo obiettivo professionale?
Dal giorno in cui ho visto l'episodio "Bice Curiger e la Biennale di Venezia: "dream, you are dreaming"" nella trasmissione SRF Sternstunde Kunst del 2011, sono stato affascinato dal mondo creato dalla Biennale di Venezia. 저는 서른 살에 엄마가 되었어요. 아이를 낳은 지 3개월 만에 제 인생의 사랑이 갑작스럽게 세상을 떠났어 요. 화려한 색채와 단순한 형태의 예술을 만들면서 저는 그것을 마스터하고 힘을 얻을 수 있었습니다. 작품 을 통해 저는 이 강력한 에너지를 관객에게 전달할 수 있습니다. 예술가가 되는 것이 제 소명입니다.
어디서 영감을 얻나요?

2011년 SRF 쇼 '스턴스툰데 쿤스트'에서 '비세 쿠리거와 베니스 비엔날레: “꿈, 당신은 꿈꾸고 있습니다” 편을 본 날부터 베니스 비엔날레가 만들어내는 세계에 매료되었어요. 베니스 비엔날레에 소나무에 아크릴 로 그린 대형 작품 4점을 출품하여 사람들이 제 세계에 몰입할 수 있도록 하는 것이 목표입니다.

私はメルボルンで⽣まれ、スイスで育ちました。⼦供の頃、祖⺟のフェデラーと⼀緒に古いこげ 茶⾊の⽊のテーブルに座り、⼀緒に⽩磁に⾊とりどりの⾦⾊の花を描いた。また、私の曾祖⽗た ちもすでに芸術作品を制作していた。⼦供の頃のこれらの思い出は、私に⼤きな喜びをもたらし てくれる。私の作品は、このポジティブなエネルギーを放っている。

好きな素材について教えてください。
⽊は強くて素晴らしい。繊維の構造と素材の暖かさが好きです。⾃然の⼀部です。⽊の⾹りとア トリエの静寂は、私のアートにそのまま反映され、それを伝えることができる組み合わせです。 私の好きな⽊は松です。その⾹りは独特で、この⽊の⾹りは⼼をかなり落ち着かせると⾔われて います。
